Closed due to high water more than a month ago, Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock reopened to the public on Thursday morning, March 28, city officials announced.

The park, at 690 Olde Rope Mill Park Road on the Little River at I-575, was closed Feb. 20 when flooding also closed the Noonday Creek and Towne Lake Pass trails. The trails reopened a few days later, but the park remained shuttered.

“While some areas may remain closed, the park will be open to public access,” a city spokeswoman said. “At this time, crews are still on scene cleaning up and assessing what, if any, parts should remain closed.”

To learn if the Taylor Randahl Mountain Bike Trails at the park are open, go to the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA) website or call 770-621-5015. Information: https://www.sorbawoodstock.org/
