The city of Woodstock and American Legion Post 316 are accepting applications for the city’s Military Banner Program.

The program salutes men and women currently serving or who have served in the military by displaying a banner in their honor on a light pole, according to a city announcement.

Orders for this year’s Veterans Day will be accepted until Oct. 1. Banners will be displayed for one week before and after Veterans Day and brought back again for Memorial Day 2019.

Enrollment costs $150 and includes one double sided, full-color, vinyl banner measuring 18 by 55 inches. Net proceeds from banner sales will go to Post 316 for their programs. Information: https://bit.ly/2J6xlJ9
