The Woodstock City Council has accepted seven streets and changed the name of an eighth, action that affects about 0.7 miles of streets at a school campus, around a shopping center and in two housing subdivisions.

The council accepted the Woodstock city portion of Towne Lake Hills South Drive, an access road to Woodstock High School and Woodstock Middle School, as part of an annexation; Lincoln Street, Reagan Street and Ridge Trail, three streets serving the Costco store at 113 Lincoln; and Meadows Court in the Towne West subdivision.

In the Highland Park subdivision, the city accepted as new Parksedge Lane, formerly Highland Park Drive, and Northpark Lane, formerly Overlook Lane; and assigned a new name of Southpark Lane to the previously accepted Highland Park Pass.
