Two women were mugged at gunpoint Friday evening in a parking lot a few blocks from Turner Field, Atlanta police said.

A man flagged down a passing police officer shortly before 11 p.m. and told the officer that two women had just been robbed near the 500 block of Martin Street, said police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The victims said four men approached them. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and said, " ‘Give it up. Give us all your money,' " Jones said.

A robber grabbed a wristlet-style purse containing a camera, credit card and a small amount of cash from a woman's hand. The four men then ran away. One of the women fell and suffered a large scrape on her leg, the spokeswoman said. The victim, however, refused medical attention.

Police canvassed the area after the robbery, however they were unable to locate the suspects because the victims could not provide a detailed description of the men, Jones said.

The Atlanta Braves' home opener was letting out at about the time the robbery occurred in the nearby parking lot, but police said they did not know if the victims had attended the game.
