Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman in her early 20s at an apartment in southeast Atlanta on Monday afternoon.
Lt. Charles Hampton said indications are the shooting could have been a domestic incident. He said it is not yet being called a homicide.
The woman was shot around 3 p.m. at the Auburn Glenn Apartments on Boulevard. Police said a weapon was recovered at the scene.
Police are questioning a woman who was at the scene regarding her involvement. Hampton would not call her a suspect and said she was cooperating.
Neither the victim nor the woman being questioned at headquarters were identified by police.
