Woman’s body found on I-75 in north Georgia

Police are working to identify the woman found dead on the side of Interstate 75.

Police are working to identify the body of a woman found along I-75 in Bartow County, according to Channel 2 Action news.

The woman, who police describe as in her early 50s, was likely hit by a car near mile marker 287 in Cartersville late Wednesday night.

The driver who hit the woman kept going, police told Channel 2.

Cartersville police told the television station that the woman had no tattoos and carried no photo identification.

No one reported any accidents nor missing persons fitting the woman’s description.
