A woman was recently added to the Atlanta Police Department's "most wanted" list on a robbery charge related to an alleged confrontation with another woman last year.

The victim told APD that her vehicle and purse had been taken by her child’s father’s new girlfriend after a physical dispute, according to a Nov. 8 incident report. Police have identified the suspect as Nandi Hamilton.

During the fight, Hamilton allegedly jumped in the victim’s car and drove off after the victim “grabbed a metal pole to defend herself,” the report said. Police said Hamilton “was afraid to come back to the location in fear of being arrested but she did agree to drop the car off at a certain location with the keys.”

The car was dropped off at a hotel on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, but the victim’s purse was missing, the report said. The officer couldn’t report the car as stolen because the suspect may have gotten permission to drive the car from her boyfriend, who also owned the vehicle, according to the report.

Anyone with information on the case may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest and indictment.
