Winning $246M Powerball ticket sold in Atlanta

One lucky Atlantan may not have to worry about gas outages if they’re the winner of the $246 million Powerball jackpot, according to the Georgia Lottery.

A Publix on Town Boulevard in Brookhaven sold the ticket with winning numbers: 9-19-51-55-62. The Powerball number was 14.

This is the fifth Powerball jackpot won this year.

At least 17 people won $50,000 in Saturday's drawing.

If you didn’t win Saturday’s jackpot, you have a chance to win $40 million in Wednesday night’s drawing.
