Beginning March 27, Whitehead Road will be closed from Suwanee Dam Road to Sugar Ridge Drive as Gwinnett Department of Transportation crews work to lengthen and widen the bridge over Line Creek.
Detour routes will be clearly marked with signs and barricades at the intersections of Suwanee Dam Road and Level Creek Road, Level Creek Road and West Price Road, Whitehead Road and Sugar Ridge Drive, Arbor View Way, Spring Hill Drive and Broad Street, and at Level Creek Road and Alton Tucker Boulevard.
The road closure is expected to last about six months.
