The White House and a variety of federal agencies are sending high-level managers to a "White House Community Partnership Summit" on Friday at the Martin Luther King Federal Building to discuss housing, workforce development, education and other topics. The meeting with local leaders is also expected to include regional leaders from the federal departments of housing and urban development, labor, transportation, homeland security, agriculture, commerce and education, health and human services and veterans affairs. The General Services Administration and Environmental Protection Agency will also be represented.
