The average commute time in DeKalb County is 31 minutes. That’s according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Bureau Director John Thompson will visit metro Atlanta this week to talk with members of the Atlanta Regional Commission and local transportation leaders.

The group will discuss how the county and census tract level commuting data the Census Bureau collects may help inform decisions about the region’s commuting and transportation future.
