What movies, TV shows filmed in Gwinnett in 2017?

Dozens of movies and TV shows filmed in Gwinnett County in 2017, from Oscar contenders to Netflix originals.

Ninety-five permits were issued by the county for 48 film projects in 2017, according to Lisa Anders, Gwinnett County’s “Camera Ready” film and TV liaison. The most popular locations used in the past year include a closed portion of the Gwinnett Place Mall, Infinite Energy Center, historic downtown Norcross and county parks, Anders said.

Those 95 permits likely don’t represent the entirety of filming that occurred in the county last year. Some films and TV shows get permission from private property owners and don’t need to file permits. Other projects get permission to film on county property by calling and asking, and don’t need to file a permit, said spokesman Joe Sorenson.
