Sept 19, 2016Residents, visitors and businesses in Emory Village will soon be able to have subs delivered to their door via bicycle, "freaky-fast-style."
Jimmy John's should be up and running at the long-vacant Chevron station on North Decatur Road in DeKalb County by Thanksgiving, according to the Emory Village Alliance.
The development has been a long time coming: Franchisee Jimmy Pineda has wanted to open a Jimmy John's in the neighborhood for more than six years.
“We are super excited to transform the distressed gas station into something the community can be proud of,” Pineda told EVA.
This will be 14th location in the Atlanta area for Pineda and partners — and fellow former bankers — Chris Coulter and Grant Lawson. The Emory Village shop will be managed by Malcolm Large, EVA said.
