Want to watch the Florida-Georgia football game while keeping your kids occupied? The Mall of Georgia has your plans all figured out.

The mall is hosting "the ultimate family tailgate" at its Village Amphitheatre on Oct. 27. The outdoor event space, which also plays host to the mall's ice skating rink, will have multiple activities for families to enjoy before and during the game.

The festivities start at 1 p.m. with country music group Hamrick & Haynes playing live until 3 p.m. A pregame show will be shown on a large LED screen at 3 p.m., followed by the game with a 3:30 kickoff. Food and alcoholic beverages will be available from the restaurants that line the Village.

Kids are encouraged to come to the event dressed in Halloween costumes. There will be a “spook-tastic costume contest” during the game’s halftime, with awards in three age groups: under 4, ages 5 to 8 and ages 9 to 12.
