Have you been looking for new pieces of media to learn from (or collect dust in your house) recently?

That's great because the city of Kennesaw is hosting a book and CD/ DVD swap for the next few days, according to the city.

Here’s how it works: if you drop off items, you’ll get redeemable tickets that let you pick up an equal number of items later.

You can drop off items on Thursday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m. and pick up the new goods from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive.

Books must have their front and back covers and be in good condition. CDs and DVDs must be in their original cases and working.

The city said the following items will not be accepted: Magazines, software, vinyl albums, VHS or cassette tapes, adult content, unauthorized or illegal material.

After the event, all unclaimed items will be donated to charities.
