Clayton County Magistrate Judge Daphne Walker has been selected to be the new president and CEO of the nonprofit Partnership Against Domestic Violence.

Walker became the first African-American elected to sit as judge in Clayton in 2004 and was reelected in 2008 and 2012. In 2002, she established her own law practice and advocated for the rights of domestic violence victims by providing free legal services in divorce, child custody and child support matters.
