V103’s Greg Street to host South Fulton’s inaugural free holiday party

6-year-old Oklahoma boy fighting genetic spinal disease asks for Christmas cards

South Fulton is holding its first holiday party, complete with a tree lighting and DJ.

The free family friendly event starts at 4 p.m. on Dec. 21, a Saturday, at the South Fulton Tennis Center, 5645 Mason Road, the city said Tuesday.

Greg Street, from the V-103 airwaves, will host the event. There will be opportunities for free pictures with Santa Dee, who refers to himself as "The Real Black Santa."

Attendees can also ride a holiday train and sip hot cocoa while listening to a band, the city said.

For those who celebrate, it’ll be four days before the big day for those who celebrate Christmas and there will be a market to get last-minutes gifts.

The city said it expects 1,000 folks to come by.
