Contractors for Georgia Transmission Corp. will pull utility lines across all lanes of State Route 10/U.S. 78 eastbound and westbound near the intersection of S.R. 10/U.S. 78 and Ross Road in Lilburn. The work is expected to impact traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 30 through Nov. 2.

The work is part of a critical electric infrastructure upgrade. Pacing the traffic for brief periods will cause motorists to drive at a significantly reduced speed so that crews may safely perform the work.

Local law enforcement will help pace traffic. Maintenance crews with Georgia DOT will also be on hand during the traffic pacing to lend help and manage traffic control safety protocols. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.

Georgia Transmission Corpo. is closely coordinating this work with GDOT. Call 511, visit 511ga.org or download the Georgia 511 app for real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
