United Way gets a name change

The United Way has a new name: The United Way of Greater Atlanta.

The organization was formerly known as the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta. The change is in line with the new “Be Greater Atlanta” marketing campaign.”

The community “is more than just a connected region on the map,” said spokesman David Graves. ” We wanted to broaden it to say how can we be greater as individuals and collectively to help those in need because these times are tough.”
