The Union City Council will consider approval for a drug and alcohol treatment facility during the regular meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at Union City Hall, 5047 Union St. The council will hold a public hearing to discuss the facility, if approved, which would be located on Hunter Road.

The council will also hold a public hearing to consider approving a package liquor license for the Circle K at 4597 Jonesboro Road.

Another item on the agenda is the reappointment of Sandra Hill and Antonio Andrews to the city’s zoning board of appeals. Both members’ terms of office expire on Aug. 31.
