Two metro area high school students selected as regional finalists in the Siemens Competition in Science, Math & Technology will compete for a $6,000 scholarship this week.

The students, Sitan Chen, a junior at Northview High School in Johns Creek and Tianqi Wu, a senior at Parkview High School in Lilburn, were chosen for their work in mathematics.

The team will compete on Friday and Saturday for regional scholarship money. Those who advance to the national tournament can win a $100,000.
