Nextran Corporation will break ground Oct. 7 on their 15th trucking facility at 1735 Breckinridge Plaza in Duluth. The company, which operates full-service medium- and heavy-duty truck centers in the Southeast, will create 80 new jobs once open for operation.

The company serves as a one-stop shop for truckers needing their vehicles serviced, and major commercial truck brand sales.

The 50,000-square-foot facility will contain both sales and service functions along with a customer lounge with kitchen, laundry room and leather recliners. The service shop will contain an overhead crane spanning 112 feet and a separate repair area for natural gas powered vehicles.
