Construction crews working with the Georgia Department of Transportation are planning to shift traffic along State Route 347 in Buford onto the newly constructed lanes beginning July 2. The shift will begin at Holiday Point Marina and end at Shoreland Drive.

Motorists will also be able to begin using the new roundabout at Big Creek Road and Bethany Creek Road.

GDOT officials are reminding drivers to use caution while navigating the area. The traffic lane shift date is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
