Traffic: Tree wrapped in power lines closes road in Sandy Springs

A few trees fell and blocked roads in Sandy Springs on Wednesday morning.

After clearing Long Grove Court of debris, crews are still working on clearing another north Fulton County road.

Sandy Springs says a down tree wrapped in power lines is still blocking Edgewater Drive.

Officials are telling drivers to avoid this area, at least during lunchtime.

The fall occurred around 11:30 a.m.
