Traffic alert: Part of Lower Roswell Rd to remain closed until 7 p.m.
Lower Roswell Rd, from Indian Hills Pkwy to Shadowlawn Road, will not reopen until an estimated time of 7 p.m., according to Cobb County District Commissioner Bob Ott.
The road is temporarily closed due to a fallen pine tree that took down three power poles.
Crews and Georgia Power Company workers have been working to improve conditions all day, but due to soaked grounds, the timetable has been extended.
Drivers in this area should take alternate routes.
