Key Road between Boulder Walk Drive and Woodham Way will be closed for filming next week, DeKalb County officials said in a news release. The road will close 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 and will reopen 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.

The DeKalb Entertainment Commission could not confirm details about the project, but said the production was being filmed by S&K Pictures, Inc.

Residents will have access to Key Road during the closure.

Georgia filmed 455 movies and television projects in fiscal year 2018, earning a 9.5 billion economic profit, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Movies filmed in Georgia include Marvel’s “Black Panther,” released in February and “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp.” “Spider-Man: Homecoming” released last year.

The Motion Picture Association of America says the industry generated 92,100 jobs and nearly $4.6 billion in total wages in Georgia and that more than 300 new businesses have relocated or expanded here to support the industry.
