The road will be closed so crews working on Vickers — the mixed-use development in Roswell — can offload materials.

A road near historic Roswell will be closed at various times over the next few days.

Thompson Place — near the intersection of Woodstock Road and Canton Street — will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

This will be a full closure of Thompson Place between Canton Street and Long Circle. Drivers are advised to use Long Circle as a detour to get to and from Canton Street.

Each day from noon to 1 p.m., crews will open one lane of Thompson Place to ease traffic.

The road will be closed so crews working on Vickers — the mixed-use development in Roswell — can offload materials, city officials said.

Due to constraints onsite, a crew will have a delivery truck set up and will be hoisting material from Thompson Place within the road closure area.

A detour will be in place for drivers while Thompson Place is closed.
