The Peachtree Corners City Council approved plans Nov. 17 for a 100-townhome development on 15 acres with access from Jay Bird Alley. The homes will average 2,400 square feet and are expected to be priced in the low $300,000s. The townhome development will feature a pool and clubhouse and a 10-foot-wide multi-use trail that will eventually connect with the city’s community wide multi-use trail system.
The tract of land was originally zoned for commercial use, but was rezoned for townhomes in keeping with the city’s plans to offer homes appealing to millennial buyers and empty nesters.
The first homes in the development are expected to be finished within 18 months.
