Thieves ransack apartment damaged by fallen tree

A man is reeling after a double dose of bad luck after his apartment was hit by a tree – and then thieves.
 
The tree fell onto the apartment on Treecrest Parkway in Decatur early Wednesday morning. The resident was not home at the time of the incident.
 
The man told Channel 2 Action News someone came into his apartment and stole several electronics.
 
"I lost a lot of stuff. My computer, my TV and cell phone," said Sotebdleziz Gartela
 
Gartela says he plans to stay with friends until he can return to his home.
