For the second time in two days, thieves tried to make off with an ATM, Atlanta police said.

This time they were unsuccessful.

One day after an ATM was stolen from Midtown Wash, a vehicle rammed into an ATM at Amsterdam and North Highland avenues, according to WSB-TV. The thieves knocked over the machine but were unable to escape with it. They were last seen fleeing in a stolen Chevrolet Avalanche, the station reported.

The incident happened at 5:15 a.m. Sunday, police said.

No one has been arrested.
