A global, cloud-based telecommunications provider for small businesses recently opened its headquarters in Alpharetta with promises of future job expansion.
The home of magicJack for BUSINESS will now be at the Northwinds IV building located on Haynes Bridge Road. This move means hiring 150 new employees by the end of 2017, company officials said.
Alpharetta was selected for its "close-knit" business environment, having an abundance of experienced and tech-savvy employees and its proximity to inner-city Atlanta. Keith Reed, senior vice president and general manager, said he was excited to be in "the heart of a community that is technology-focused, embraces (small and medium-sized businesss) and supports our desire to help them grow and prosper."
The company is currently hiring for positions in software development, sales and customer care. Residents can apply for those positions at the company's LinkedIn page.
