March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The disease is most common among people over 50 years old; more than 90 percent of colorectal cancer cases occurred among people in that age range, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Once you complete your tour de colon at Sugarloaf Mills, you can take a colorectal screening kit home with you.
