A reader hopes something can be done about a safety issue regarding a new contruction project that he believes could imperil drivers.
“Look at what I saw during this morning’s commute. The only thing protecting drivers on I-285 from heavy construction equipment fall hazard is yellow caution tape. The danger is more understood when viewed from Camp Creek Parkway exit ramp from I-285 Southbound,” the reader wrote.

Jim Wright wants something done about a pothole.
“There is a bad pothole at the corner of Windsor Drive and Mabry which makes turning from Mabry onto Windsor impossible to miss with traffic coming at you from Windsor. It makes for a dangerous right turn,” he wrote. We sent the item to the city and learned the pothole had been fixed within hours of our request. That response time is one of the quickest we have observed in years of doing this column.

Joseph Palladi is troubled by some asphalt in desperate need of repair.
“The pavement on the ramps on Ga. 400, at the southbound on ramp at the Buckhead Loop /Lenox Road and the northbound on ramp at the Glenridge Perimeter Connector, is not only very rough and noisy, but both locations have the layers of asphalt peeling away. When will these be addressed?” he asked.
