Fixed: Stone Mountain (DeKalb)
Earlier this month, we told you about an issue that is a familiar one to many of our readers.
Larry Charles of Stone Mountain writes “this speed limit sign has been broken for over a year”. He said it’s located at the intersection of Post Road Pass and Lost Creek Circle about 30 feet down on Lost Creek Circle.
We learned the issue has been resolved.

Arnold Letendre wants a road re-opened.
“I am writing about the Lake Dow Road closure in Henry County. I live in the Lake Dow North community which is directly affected by this closure. There is a drainage pipe underneath the road that is defective and needs to be replaced. This has been ongoing since June 2018. The only thing we were told at the time is the work would be finished by January 2019,” he said.
Letendre said there has been absolutely no work done on this problem other than putting up signs and barricades to close the road at the lake. This is a main artery to get from this community into McDonough and beyond.
“The closure results in a 3-5 mile detour for people living in this area. The only information released by the county was a budget proposal for $600,000 plus for the repairs and this was back in November. As far as I know it was approved but to this day there is nothing going on to repair the road,” he added.
