Frankie Campbell hopes someone at the city will hear her plea about a problem that has plagued her for more than a year.
“I have tried to get this hole repaired since December 2013 and no one seems to be able to help (me) figure out how to handle getting the repairs done,” Campbell wrote.
Campbell lives on Boulder Road SE in Atlanta and said the hole just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
“One of my concerns is that a child may fall into the hole or go underground and mess with the things that (are) underneath. I can look down and see underneath the street,” Campbell wrote.
We sent her issue to the city and will keep you updated on the situation.

Perry Penton alerted us about a pothole at the southwest corner of 14th Street NE and Peachtree Street NE that has been repaired several times, but keeps coming back. Penton said it is deep enough to rip a tire off a car and hopes it can be pernamenyly fixed.
“I would appreciate it if you would contact the proper authorities to have this dangerous pothole repaired quickly. You might also suggest that the repair should not be the same type of repair made in the past,” Penton added.
We sent the item to our contacts at the city and will let you know when the pothole gets repaired.

New item-Stone Mountain Freeway
Nancy Prescott hopes something can be done about one of the region’s busiest highways.
“For the past 30 years, I have travelled from North DeKalb Mall onto Ga. Highway 78 (Stone Mountain Freeway.) The entrance ramp going up onto Highway 78 at Valley Brook is full of potholes which have been there for all these years. I don’t think this would entail a huge paving job, but would save the tires and alignment of thousands of cars each day,” she wrote.
We sent her concern to the DOT and will let you know when the repair is made and the entrance ramp is pothole-free.
