New item-DeKalb County
Charles Bohanan hopes some horrible potholes can soon be fixed.
“Attached is a photo of some very bad potholes at the intersection of Country Squire Lane and Country Squire Drive in DeKalb County. I would be surprised if the people actually living near this intersection have not complained, but these holes have been there for quite a long time,” he wrote.
Bohanan said he lives on Country Squire Court, and this intersection is one he passes frequently when he goes to Shamrock Plaza.
“The only way to go through this intersection without rattling your teeth is to swing around these holes or go through them at a very slow speed. Anything that you can do to get this mess fixed would be most appreciated,” he said.
We sent the item to DeKalb County and will keep you updated.

New item-Interstate 20
Once again, we heard from our readers about the deteriorating conditions of the region’s interstates. This week’s reader tipped us off over some big potholes on Interstate state 20.
“There are big holes on the on ramp to I-20 east getting on at Fulton Industrial Boulevard and in the right lane heading towards I-285 South. That section of the road is so bad, it’s going to cause serious damage to someone’s vehicle,” the reader said.
We sent the issue to the DOT.

New item-Atlanta
It seems spring brings out readers’ frustration with potholes.
We heard from another reader who is deplored by the condition of Houston Mill Road in the heart of the city.
“Please put this in someone’s hands who can take care of it soon or, at least, see why it is taking so long to fix it. The whole length of Houston Mill Road has been patched and re-patched and it still has more potholes all the time. This is really a constantly traveled road and is in really terrible shape,” the reader said.
We sent the issue to the city and let you know when it is repaired or when we are supplied a timeline for the fix.
