The Suwanee City Council recently approved a contract not to exceed $55,000 for council chambers A/V overhaul. According to the city, the current equipment, which is original to the building, is outdated technology and is causing performance issues. The new system will include 4K digital media, under desk monitor and podium microphone upgrades, and the replacement of the projectors and screens with 98” flat panel monitors.

The contract with Cross Multimedia, of Suwanee, includes labor for audio/video equipment, installation, lift rental, equipment rack rewiring and the removal and recycling of the existing projectors and screens.
