The Suwanee City Council voted Tuesday to award $658,150 to Peach State Construction for the design and construction of sidewalk and pedestrian improvements along Suwanee Dam Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
Improvements along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard will become part of the Western Gwinnett Bikeway. The bikeway is an asphalt path, ten feet wide for use by bikers and pedestrians. The trail will connect Norcross, Berkeley Lake and Duluth when construction is completed.
