The Suwanee City Council approved $49,624 Tuesday for the fabrication and installation of wayfinding signs. The city had previously awarded a contract for the project in the fall, but was forced to terminate the agreement due to non-performance. The new contract is approved with the second bidder, Custom Sign Factory.
The overall project includes the fabrication and installation of 25 signs including 19 vehicular wayfinding signs located at six major intersections including Interstate 85 and Lawrenceville Suwanee Road and others. The remaining signs, to come later, are for individual destinations and parking directional signs in Town Center.
