An alleged gunman was taken into custody after a shootout with police officers in southwest Atlanta, Channel 2 Action News reported.

No one was injured.

The incident happened Wednesday night on Godfrey Drive when officers were called to the area to respond to gunshots.

Officers said the suspect fired at them, hitting a patrol car during the exchange of shots.

Police arrested 19-year-old Brent Creagh and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault on police, three counts of felony obstruction, one count of interference with government property and one count of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

According to Atlanta police Capt. Adam Lee III, Creigh also has an active warrant out of Cobb County for simple assault.
