The Sugar Hill Arts Commission is celebrating some of Sugar Hill’s talented young artists through Dec. 27 at “Live Art Showcase!” inside the Gallery at City Hall, 5039 W. Broad St. This special show features large canvas artwork from 13 local students from Lanier and North Gwinnett High Schools who created works with live painting during the annual Sugar Rush Fall Festival.

The Sugar Hill Arts Commission is a group of artists and art lovers working to encourage, promote and expand public interest in the arts. Monthly meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month in the Art Gallery in City Hall. There are no membership fees to join and meetings are open to the public.
