The Latin American Association and Comcast Corp. gave netbook computers to 44 students at DeKalb County’s Sequoyah Middle School last week.

The students at the Doraville school attend an after-school program offered by the association, and will also get a year of free Internet access through the partnership between the association and Comcast.

The association provides tutoring, academic skills development and college and career preparation.
