Stone Mountain Park, widely-known for its extravagant laser light show, is trying to out do itself.

The “2.0” version of the “spectacular” laser display debuts Friday at 9:30 p.m., in time for Memorial Day weekend, and runs nightly through summer.

The show features new music, animation, “tricks” and drones, which fly in sync with the music and visuals projected against the mountain.

Further details haven’t yet emerged about the latest incarnation of the show, which has been a Georgia tradition for years and is billed as “the world’s longest running” show of its kind.
