Stone Mountain Christmas parade planned

Nov 14, 2012Stone Mountain’s annual Christmas parade and fireworks show has been set for the evening after Thanksgiving.
Festivities run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 23, with the parade beginning at 6 p.m. along the town’s Main Street. Fireworks begin just after Santa’s arrival and a tree lighting ceremony, at 7:30 p.m.
The event also features classic cars, pony rides and other activities.
