Spiffed up DeKalb park reopens

Shoal Creek Park has re-opened following $10,000 of renovations funded by a grant from Sprite Spark Parks Project.

The grant paid to resurface two full basketball courts and two half courts and also to replace all backboards on the courts. The county also completed some basic beautification projects at the park, which is on Glenwood Road near Decatur.
