A major airline says it’s back up and running at the Atlanta airport after a major outage caused technical issues Wednesday.

Southwest Airlines was handing out boarding passes about 6:30 p.m. and the departure board showed flights were only delayed from 10 to 30 minutes, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A major computer outage led Southwest Airlines to order a ground stop on all flights at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport that had not left the gate about 5 p.m Wednesday. Other flights were delayed.

The company issued a statement saying intermittent performance issues started earlier Wednesday afternoon with multiple technology systems as a result of an outage. Those technical issues affected multiple systems nationwide.

“We are now managing flight delays across our system, with a temporary ground stop in place for those flights that have not left the gate,” the statement said in part.

Southwest Airlines apologized to its customers and said a team of experts were working to fix and understand what caused the technical issues.
