Southern Poly to hold two commencement ceremonies
Southern Polytechnic State University will hold two commencement ceremonies May 8 to accommodate its graduates, officials said Tuesday.
Michael Sizemore, founder and president of the architecture firm, The Sizemore Group, will deliver the commencement address at both. His firm helped plan the 1996 Olympics.
The morning ceremony is for the schools of arts and sciences; engineering technology and management; and division of engineering.
The afternoon session is for the schools of architecture, civil engineering technology and construction; and computing and software engineering.
