DeKalb County investigators are asking for help solving an arson that destroyed a home outside Ellenwood over the weekend.

The house at 4869 Amsler Road caught fire Saturday morning. Photos shared by the county fire department showed massive flames engulfing the home and the charred remains later.

Investigators determined arson was the cause but haven’t released more information. A request for more information from the department went unanswered Monday.

The agency asked on social media for anyone with information to call the Georgia Arson Tipline at 1-800-282-5804. Tipsters can get up to $10,000 for information leading to a conviction.
