Many South Cobb roadwork delays have been announced for this week.
Clay Road sidewalks from Austell Road to Mable Lake Drive will see continued installation of storm drain and pouring of sidewalks, curb and gutter through Wednesday.
Installation of erosion-control devices and clearing through Friday will take place on Floyd Road from Veterans Memorial Highway to Clay Road.
Powder Springs Road at Cheatham Hill and Callaway Roads will have periodic lane closures through Friday.
For Queen Mill Road, the contractor will perform grading operations, grassing and installing guardrail.
Six Flags Parkway at Lee Industrial Boulevard will undergo asphalt-paving operations, grading and installing of storm drain pipe and signal work.
For all of these roads, periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. should be expected with one lane remaining open while the contractors continue their work, including relocation of services.
