A candidate forum scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15 in Snellville has been cancelled. “It is my understanding the cancellation is a result of pressure that was applied by the opposition,” said Tom Witts, candidate running for mayor against incumbent Kelly Kautz.
An alternative opportunity for citizens to hear from candidates is being planned as a forum/town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Summit Chase Country Club, 3197 Classic Drive. Candidates Tom Witts, Dave Emanuel, Cristy Lenski and Roger Marmol have all agreed to participate.
